We created BE Intent using innovative and effective technology to provide unique personal support and motivation to all staff members on a daily basis. It's easy to use.
The BE Intent engagement programme combines an advanced website with an interactive desktop application. All installations are easy and fast, and should any challenges occur, we have excellent technical assistance for you. The sections below outline all the technical information that you may need to know.
Most organisations have procedures in place, so you may need to acquire internal authority before you can download and install the desktop application or interact daily with the BE Intent website. Check out the What my boss needs to know page or download this page as a PDF to provide your IT department or boss with more details.
HOW DOES THE INSTALLATION WORK?
Installation* is quick and easy, and requires the user to login to BE Intent and go the Download Application page where they will have to click on the INSTALL NOW button to start the process.
*Installation generally takes between 1-3 minutes.
WHAT IS Adobe® AIR™?
Adobe® AIR™ is a new and exciting system developed by Adobe which enables applications like [ Choose My Day ] to run outside your internet browser and on your desktop instead.
For the past 25 years Adobe® have been creating reliable and award winning software and technology (see below for more details).
Most office environments have Flash™ installed on their computers, however installation can also take place just prior to installing [ Choose My Day ]. Adobe® AIR™ is coupled with the [ Choose My Day ] installation.
WHAT IS FLASH™?
Flash™ is a multimedia platform developed to allow the use of animation and video in rich Internet applications.

WHAT WILL THE LOAD ON MY SYSTEM BE?
The load on your system will vary depending on the number of users that you have. Each user can receive up to 48 files per day, and with our maximum file size being 150kb this means that the maximum total load per user is 7mb (or 7200kb).
Want to know what the load will be for your organisation? Just multiply the number of staff you have by 7 to find the total maximum load for your system.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER INSTALLATION?
Once the [ Choose My Day ] application has successfully been installed you will be presented with the login screen (NB. Your login details are exactly the same as for the website).
Once you've logged in you'll have to select your current state of mind and then select how you'd like to feel. Based on these two chosen states the [ Choose My Day ] application will access the BE Intent Online Media Database and come back with a series of unique Exercises and Intents to help shift your current state of mind to how you would like to feel.

The [ Choose My Day ] application runs using Adobe® AIR™ and Flash™ and sits on each individual staff member's desktop. It delivers personalised Exercises and tools every hour.
www.beintent.com is our hub for resources and personal information. Staff have both home and office log-ins, but resources & tools are delivered via the desktop application.
