MY DAY - [ CHOOSE MY DAY ] DESKTOP APPLICATION

Here's our unique BE Intent tool, [ Choose My Day ] - your daily and hourly Motivator to help you get the most out of your day. [ Choose My Day ] is a small desktop application that pops up each hour to amuse, inspire and motivate you. Personalised to you, and unique to each day, it also includes a goal setting tool, Motivators, calendar and journal.

We've studied what works for real people: small incremental steps are cumulative, and before you know it, you've made lots of progress. For example, we understand how difficult it is to stop in the day to take a mini-break. Our gentle strategies of humour and motivation help you to effectively and incrementally produce consistent results. Each day you'll be prompted to choose your current state of mind and what state of mind you want for the day.

Choose your state

Every day is different - our daily state-of-being, or mood, affects our ability to listen, communicate, learn, serve, create, share and focus. We have created a tool to help you have the day you want. We've studied how we group emotions and where we feel these in our bodies - for example, when nervous we have butterflies in our stomach. The Intents you receive are personalised to you and your day and will help to move you to your chosen state of mind. Each hour you'll also get an Exercise to prevent OOS and RSI, and just to get your body moving.

Exercises

It all adds up - we've combined a series of Exercises based on OSH requirements for computer health. We get bored seeing the same thing all the time, so we've combined a series of media to encourage you to take a mini-break and exercise your body (and brain). Just image that 8 exercises a day = 40 a week, and over 2000 a year! They are designed to be fun and easy, you'll be astounded how good they feel to do and how much they help! As soon as you've completed your Exercise, you'll get an 'intent' that's related to your chosen daily focus.

Intents

Intents - here's the fun bit for us... Our team love putting together favourite quotes, images, photographs, animations and inspirational well-being tools that can be personalised to your chosen state. Through studying physiological and emotional connections to colour, language and shape, each Intent is made to contribute to a certain state-of-being as well as to encourage a micro-pause. You can rate each Intent that you see, so you can define your own style and preferences.

DPI, OOS & RSI help

BE Intent's core tool is our Desktop support tool for daily health and motivation. It is a simple application that prompts staff to choose how they want their day to be. Exercises are delivered to the desktop every hour, to help reduce and relieve discomfort, pain and injury from Occupational Overuse Syndrome symptoms such as work related tennis elbow, golfers elbow, carpal tunnel syndromea and tendonitis etc. Back and neck pain, strains and pains in all parts of the body, including arms, shoulders, back and legs etc, are addressed by the hourly support. Most pain and discomfort injuries arise over time for lots of different reasons, and our programme is about small but consistent habits that improve your overall health on a daily basis. Our Exercises and reminders to drink water and eat fruit focus on posture and assisting with mental clarity and focus. All content includes recommended exercises by ACC and OOS.

Customised Content

All content is designed and developed here in New Zealand. That means that we can write, film and animate, creating a special programme just for you. Our programme is about giving people personalised tools, know-how and motivation to choose to be healthy and happy on a daily basis. An organisation may choose for us to create some special intents for them based on their company mission or values.

MY LIFE - ENERGY GAP AND TOTAL SELF JOURNEY

[ THE ENERGY GAP ] and [ TOTALSELF JOURNEY ] are online tools to help you live with intention. Try our revealing energy gap exercise - it only takes 5 minutes - and see where your energy gaps are. It will take just 30 minutes using the [ TOTALSELF JOURNEY ] tool to put your life into perspective and to create action.

The five areas of Physical Self, Material Self, Inner Self, Shared Self and Intellectual Self are all interconnected and make up your individual person or TotalSelf. We each put a different value, weight and emphasis on the five areas.

The TotalSelf model is a valuable goal setting tool as it allows you to reflect on, focus on and manifest different areas of your life. The powerful question - What do I want from my life? - is often hard to answer as it is so broad, so the TotalSelf model is about helping you break down the question to zone-in and focus on specific areas and outcomes for your life.
